With nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Sherlonda Thomas has devoted her career to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in need. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, equipping her with a strong foundation in both the clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare. Her journey has taken her through family practice and neurology, where she has gained invaluable experience working with patients across a broad spectrum of medical needs.

Her expertise lies in neurodiagnostics as a trained Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician, specializing in analyzing brain wave activity to assist in diagnosing and managing conditions such as dementia, seizures, Alzheimer’s disease, and memory loss. This role has allowed her to work closely with patients facing complex neurological conditions, providing them with the knowledge and support they need for their health journey.

Beyond neurodiagnostics, Sherlonda is also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Patient Care Assistant (PCA) with an Associate of Applied Science degree. These credentials have strengthened her ability to provide hands-on patient care, ensuring a well-rounded approach to supporting individuals with both medical and daily living needs. Her experience has reinforced her belief in the importance of compassion, dignity, and respect in patient care.

Angelique Epps is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Virginia Board-Approved Supervisor for LPC and LMFT, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, a Masters in Human Services Management and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She is also a Certified Personal Care Aide (PCA), combining clinical expertise with hands-on caregiving experience to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care in the home setting.

As Co-Owner of Compassionate Care At Home, LLC, Angel brings a unique blend of mental health insight and direct care experience to home health services. With a background in trauma-informed care, grief and loss, mindfulness practices, and family therapy, Angel understands the importance of treating the whole person emotionally, physically, and socially.

She has worked across various clinical settings including partial hospitalization, outpatient care, schools, and community programs, giving her a strong foundation in working with diverse populations and high-risk individuals.
